Cremation destroys the body beyond repair, not that dying in a fire leaves the body unscathed. But wilfully putting the flames to the temple of the Holy Spirit post mortem is not the mark of a Christian. It was the mark of martyrdom for Christians to be burned at the stake. That is not an invitation to do so after one goes to rest. A Christian knows not the day nor the hour of his/her visitation and thus does best to embrace the Lord even through ones death, not treat the Lord with contempt by passing undo judgment upon oneself.[/size]
